Received the bench quickly & assembled it very easily. There is a "lip" in the front to hold the cushioned bench in place to keep it from sliding forward, I wish there was also one in the back so that it wouldn't slide back - but this was easily fixed by installing a couple of brackets to keep cushion in place.
A little hard to screw in some of the bottom pieces, just because of screw driver being the same height as the open space above the screws...so just a little extra maneuvering, but not impossible (maybe if I just had a smaller screwdriver it wouldn't have been an issue at all).
Most importantly, daughter LOVES having a bench in her room and having a place to store all of her princess dolls (and whatever else she decides to put in the baskets at the moment!)
This is a great accessory for my baby girls nursery. Of course the room is mostly pink, but I have a little bit of the sage green color and I ordered this in the green color and it's just perfect. This item really "jazzed it up" nicely.

I've gotten this gift for the past three years for friends with newborns. Its always a winner. We fill it up with a baby blanket, diapers, lotion and of course books. When I found it online at ababy.com, I noticed it was $15-$20 cheaper and the shipping was free. I can now send it to friends without incurring the extra cost of shipping and I also save on the product cost! The book holder is very sturdy, well made and overall beautiful. A keepsake for a long time. Plus mine arrived earlier than the website said it would!

This book holder is well constructed and has a unique and beautiful design. It was given as a gift for my grandchild's nursery. It is a sturdy piece and will be the perfect home for bedtime story books!
