The chair was purchased for my nephew as a transition chair - from high chair to dining table chair. It is strong and sturdy with a durable finish. It was easy to assemble from the pictured step by step instructions. Screws and tools were provided. You do however need to provide either carpenter/furniture glue or Elmer's white glue to assemble. The chair is hardwood constructed and is reasonable priced. I purchased the natural finish, but it was nice to see two other finishes being offered.
