We bought this for our 16 month old grandson, he will probably be able to use this until he is at least 8. I looked around online to other chairs, and ones that cost less but decided on this one. I am NOT sorry, its gorgeous. The chair is much bigger than I had expected, its built strong and sturdy, the personal touches (gold imprint on the bottom of the seat where you can write their name, date and who its from), was a surprise but a very nice touch, the finish was perfect, we got the Espresso, it is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend this chair.
