We are in the midst of transitioning from the cheap plastic stuff to more sophisticated and realistic looking toys. We purchased the kitchen set as a replacement of a Little Tikes set. We have not yet given it to our kids (its for Christmas) but I believe they will actually play with this toy versus the last one. There is more play space, storage, and realism to this play set. It assembles easily, looks nice, and is of better quality. It took several days to fulfill the actual order but it was delivered within the subsequent week.
