I had purchased the bassinet my daughter wanted available online only from Babies R Us. When it arrived the mattress was about 1/2 inch thick. Babies R Us did not carry online or stores a mattress large enough to fit nor did the manufacturer of the bassinet carry a thicker mattress. This fit perfectly and arrived very quickly.
